Near everything is ready to go. [break][break]

After spending months in the lab hes finally has everything prepared. Sure it took a bit of research, and sometime of living in the labs but Wright was sure he was on to something. Hes done the test and now it was time to test on the living. If he could work this out fodder pokemon shouldn't be a problem, maybe later it could lead to something more. Though for now it had to be baby steps. "Deedee! Have you done the thing!?" he shouted to the new assistant he was given for the live test. Sure he got the young man's name but he didn't care, if you were an assistant in his lab you were called 'Deedee.' With how many he went through he didn't bother with the names. [break][break]

Had his new Deedee been paying attention they should have known to enter the numbers of the file hes put in their hands and into the computer next to his Elgyem who just sat there next to the computer most likely staring at them. Wright just clapped his hands in excitement as the time was close. Though of course before he could show this to the bosses he needed other witnesses. [break][break]

The door opens. Wright smiles, he found his witness, "YOU!" he points as hes walks to the door, "You're about to witness something amazing today." wait didn't he call for a person? Eh who cares, "Deedee is it done!?" he ask the assistant again.

Rocket HQ's labs are awfully well equipped, the young woman can't help but note as she gives herself a self-guided tour around the north wing. Still lagging behind in comparison to her own, mind you, but hers is specifically furnished to fulfill her needs, as opposed to labs set up for public use. Inevitably, her mind wanders to imagine how much better a head scientist's station would be.

Erin is ready to leave when a curious sound reaches her ears. It's emitted by her porygon2, ever faithfully trailing behind her. She follows the pokémon's gaze to a particular door, closed and with a

KEEP OUT

sign. Curious indeed.

Immediately she's greeted by a man exhilarated by whatever he's about to accomplish. She eyes him, then eyes the so-called Deedee, and barely manages to stifle a laugh.

"What's taking so long, Deedee?" she adds to the incoming onslaught of questions directed at him. Perhaps staying to see this experiment through wouldn't be such a bad idea.

[break][break] Her decision is made. Her gaze moves on to scan the room. Without quite turning to the first man who'd greeted her in, she asks, "What exactly are you trying to accomplish?"

[attr="class","finn i"]deedee is apparently his name now. he can't remember if he even got a chance to argue against it, not that it would have mattered anyway. deedee has been paying attention and knows exactly what he should be doing. by the time he's called, the numbers have already been punched in. it still doesn't stop erin from calling out to him, however, and he turns to glare at her.

"can we please find another witness? someone not her?"

unsure of how he even got himself in this predicament, he sighs, and turns back to dr. wright. "yes, the numbers are in. we should be ready to begin." he allows the dr. the pleasure of having to explain his experiment to erin.

"Why there a problem with her eyes or something," excuse him now as hes well within Erin's personal space as he leans in on her to check them out for himself. "Nope she stays don't bring your personal problems in my lab Deedee, science has no place for feelings! Now then," he walks over to the main computer to do a quick double check. [break][break]

"The future young lady! And whats surely to nab me the spot of Head Scientist!" he puts on his safety googles cause while he may be the crazed doctor he understands lab safety. Wright is quick to move to the platform in the middle as he preps his future pitch. "We all know strong pokemon to use is always something Rocket strives for! However more often than not we're forced to just grab random pokemon from the wild, then us having to train and drug them in order for them to be at peak potential. Though what I have here is to eliminate the work of that. Now watch and be amazed as we create a pokemon out of thin air." [break][break]

"Deedee boot it up!" he calls to his assistant knowing he has shown the man the way to start the machine, all he could do now is turn to it an wait for the show to start.

The sudden close-up of the scientist's face surprises her, but Erin doesn't recoil, doesn't step back. Her growing eyes probably make his inspection of them easier, and even that is an odd idea to process. Ultimately, though, she only has thanks to offer him for shutting Finn up in such an amusing way. That's the moment she decides she likes him, as extravagant as he seems to be.

"Impossible to find obedient assistants these days," she tuts with a shake of her head.

Erin starts to follow after the scientist, but decides against it when she notices him getting too close to the electronic equipment in the very center of the room. She'll watch from beside Finn, thank you. Or maybe from behind would be safer, if things were to go downhill. She doesn't want to open the wrong door to hell.

"That's pretty ambitious," she comments idly. The future, he says, but voltorb and electrode already exist, as do golett and golurk, and even the cute little porygon2 trailing after her. Still, his ideas are interesting, so she lets him have his moment. "Not only time, you'd also be cutting expenses on labor force, food, storage, pokemon care." Despite what her logic dictates, Erin finds herself a little excited about the prospect.

[attr="class","finn i"]"the rest of her, really." but finn is quickly shut down in such spectacular fashion that he decides to just shut up entirely. he tenses, obviously unhappy, but he's in no place to argue. he is only the assistant, after all.

listening to the dr. speak and explain his experiment leaves an uncomfortable knot in his stomach. everything about it doesn't sit well with finn. but again, it's not in his place to argue. he's just there to mindlessly follow orders, which he absolutely loathes.

"okay."

the call to start the machine is quickly responded to. finn boots the machine up and turns, waiting.

True science isn't done in one go, so thought i try to add a dark go

"Please obedience is easy, competence is usually the problem which luckily this Deedee has been so," he semi-compliments the man, easily picking up the disdain the two had a problem with one another but he wasn't going to let that get in the way. His smile couldn't help but widen at the girl's ideas, "Looks like you don't have a terrible head on your shoulder's either." [break][break]

When Deedee does the thing the buzzing sounds of the machine turning on start to fill the room. The computer's lights up while it reads the data thats been written up as an electrical current streams it's way between the main computer to the platform in the middle. Like a 3D printer a pokemon starts to slowly take shape. Before long a wire framed skeleton is formed, but the more and more it took shape the less and less Wright seemed impressed. At first glace it would seem to any amateur that the experiment was going well, it was taking shape, even moving but Wright has been working on this for awhile. It's shape was sharp, the color off, it's wire was uneaven and pixelated. Clearly the end product wasn't going to be what they were looking for. Lack of power maybe? [break][break]

"Deedee terminate it," he ordered knowing well enough that if they ended it there it would die and he could fix the itty bitty details. Though as he wasn't sure of this Deedee's ethical code he made sure that if the man didn't do it he would have gone over and terminated it himself. The doctor wouldn't even care as the imperfection fell to the ground with a weak pain screech as he would shoo Deedee off the chair for a minute to look through the files, "Gonna need to clear the cache," he comments to himself as hes biting his thumb in thought not even bothering to watch as the virtual pokemon would disburse into data.[break][break]

"Deedee! Newbie! Thoughts brainstorm!" he spoke as he went over the files once more, he didn't really need their thoughts but at times he found ricocheting ideas off others helped.

Something is going wrong and Erin's mind starts to race even before being asked to brainstorm with the scientist. Everything happens too fast after his order to terminate the experiment. She watches with a frown as the would-be porygon falls apart into a million pixelated atoms. It's a dreadful sight.

"The model must have been missing a vertix. Did you run it through a render before this? And it's-" Erin stops, corrects herself. "It was green. Your wavelength was probably too low."

Her suggestions are completely speculative, based on her understanding of chemistry, informatics and design. After all, the process she'd followed to program her own pokémon had been quite different, and she'd also gone above and beyond to ensure her first attempt was also her first success.

"Was this your first time running this program?" To subject a creature to die mid-conception is too cruel even for her, and to do so more than once? She doesn't want to imagine it, but she owes it to the deceased pokémon to ask.

There is great discomfort in what she's about to ask next. She gulps it all down. "Siri, did you run a diagnosis?"

The porygon2 has, indeed, run a diagnosis. She pushes its results to print on a secondary screen, for the scientist to see. Erin takes a moment to check on Finn before going over them herself. He's always been a lot softer than her.
